LTCF online application for Bucks County
My LTCF expires in May 2022 and I was wondering a few things about renewing online:
#1---How long does it take to issue?
#2---Once approved, do they mail a new LTCF or do I have to pick it up?
#3---If it's approved but after my expiration, is my card still good?"I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." Thomas Jefferson

Says must bring $20 to one of three locations, so that answers the second question....must be picked up. Doesn't say how long between your applying and your receiving notice. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Re: LTCF online application for Bucks County
Things might have changed but go to the Doylestown courthouse and you will get it before you leave. Last time I renewed was at the start of Covid when almost every other county courthouse was closed. Out in 20-30 min. Not as fast as my first renewal but am not complaining.
And this was with the last sheriff who was a democrat but I think his party screwed him and put their choice in now. I am definitely interested to hear if there was a change since the last election.

The people in Levittown couldn't be nicer. She told me I could sit tight, or come back. It took 30 minutes for my first time.

Yes, you have to pick it up. However, you cannot submit the application without filling in everything including the references. Which have been discussed at length here as not required. They can't call your references, so why even have them. I went and applied in person, the didn't ask about the blank references and still was only about 20-30 minutes total.
If you apply online they will let you know when to pick it up, still have to go in and wait for them to call you back and take your picture. When i renewed there were some folks there that renewed online. Yes they were in and out faster than I was, but there was still some waiting.DISCOUNTS - Steel Target Paint: beaverje10 (10% off) | Wiland USA: jbeaver05 (5% off)

References: Minnie Maus, Don Ducke. Used to stick those names and others as ped stops on our patrol logs, just to see if anyone ever read them. Never heard anything from the brass.

Re: LTCF online application for Bucks County
Here's something that's been bugging me for some time. I have a LTCF, wife's is expired.
If my wife and I are in the car together, and I want to bring a backup handgun, I can have it anywhere in the vehicle. Does that include her handbag? If not, why not. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
