An addendum to the OP. The date of the February 5-6 2022 show has been changed to January 15-16 2022.

As for this weekends show it's promising to be a decent Pittsburgh area show. There's no major conflict such as Oaks. The only other draw is the Lycoming Mall show up north. There should be lots of dealers in Monroeville.

We will be set up there with lots of goodies both new and used. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Will there be pickles? Cause it ain't a gun show without pickles.

    Always pickles at this show.

Multiple jerky dealers (I guess you could take that a couple of different ways......) too.

Did anyone go to the show yesterday, and if so how was it?

This one was more of a "gun accessories and ammo" show. Surprisingly few vertical gun racks, and a number of regular gun dealers were missing. Lots of accessories, knives, fudge and other confections, and the largest number bulk ammo vendors I've seen there in years, some of which I've never seen before. Don't know ammo prices; I wasn't looking for any and didn't pay attention. But the selection was huge.

Also in attendance were undercover AG agents identified by one or two wireless ear buds, and a longer-distance searching look on their faces. When standing in front of tables usually close to where transfer paperwork was being preformed and asked if they need help, they had some not-rehearsed story about looking for a type of magazine, or "just looking." Pretty obvious. A few dealers had a semi-uniformed AG office official stand or sit and observe the paperwork process. Did not see handcuffs in use.

It's been a while since I was last at this gun show. Is it still customary for attendees to carry guns into the show for sale?

Yes. You'll be directed to the table where the security guys will cable tie the action after checking to see it's unloaded.

Last two times I was at this show, hand guns were being stolen. Two shows in a row (last two). The one show, the protected class was caught in the act, and was detained at a table. Also, several people reeked of weed....which is odd, IMO. If you can't (and shouldn't) fool with a firearm when under the influence, then why would anyone be permitted into a show who reeked of weed or alcohol? A few members of the protected class reeked of weed--perhaps the show didn't want to deal with repercussions of being labeled raysis.
