A popular shopping mall in Durham has been closed after a shooting this afternoon.

The Streets of Southpoint was crowded with Black Friday shoppers when three people were shot.

Used to go to that mall a lot. It currently bans concealed carry, which has force of law in NC https://www.streetsatsouthpoint.com/...f-conduct.html

I remember that they always had plenty of security guards, but they were unarmed, so as you can see they don't do much good.

The current info I've been reading suggests that they think it was just general lowlifes shooting at each other and the kid was caught by a ricochet.
