Personally I use the classifieds, as everyone I met to buy or sell something has been negotiated a fair price..

You will get low balled at a gun show unless you deal with ScotsGuard, he has been very fair.

You*re not far away from Tanners in Bucks county if you*re looking for options They*ll take a lot of pictures of it, put together a brief description and put it on Gunbroker. You get the benefit of a huge audience bidding on the gun and they*re a highly regarded retailer so people bid with confidence. After the auction closes they keep 15% of selling price and cut you a check for the rest.

And on that note, Tanner's offers very fair buy/trade prices to boot if you want to just get it done that day.

GunBroker prices are crazy, and they are not getting bids either. 1911 Colts are priced $1500 and above. Is that the going price?

Unfortunately the avatar is the size of a quarter. I can't even tell if it's a 1911 or highpower (or something else)? Of course, I don't have much know-how of either, so I may be way off. A description may be of more value.

Make a sign and tape it to your back. That*s standard procedure for selling a handgun at a gun show. Or make a sign, tape it to a stick, and carry the stick like a slung rifle.
