THAT is why it's critical to keep it up and elect right-thinking folks.

Most importantly - a right-thinking governor.

If we don't override the veto then we carry on and do like the left does, they never give up, why should we? Bring it back up in another year or two.

I have to agree with this MO and would even step it up a notch and shoot for another constitutional amendment and allowing the public to vote on it. The only reservation I have on it is asking my legislator to waste his time on things that I know are fruitless.

Update, the House Judiciary Committee reported SB 565 today. It should run next week.
