Neat new deer gun. Being a "Franken Gun", any idea on value? I don't want tp screw the guy. I want to offer fair value for it.
Honestly, It's no longer an interest of collectors since it's been modified, except maybe for a project gun so that comes down to condition and what the current market dictates. I wouldn't pay more than $300 unless there wasn't a scratch on it, then may $400.

Let us know how it goes,

Value is so hard to evaluate these days. Pre coivid, sportorized milsurps usually could be had fairly cheap, like $200 to $300 or so, depending on the underlying gun, and how bubba'ed they were.
The British must have shoulders of iron ! I shot my Jungle Carbine years ago and still remember the recoil vividley !

meh, Got a Gibbs conv #4MK1 to 5 for the wife to hunt with and the recoil is not that bad. Loud as fuck though.

No value to collect but would be a damm fine hunting gun.

I have one of those. Fun as hell to shoot, dad picked it up on the cheap years ago. I never minded the recoil, but it's definitely more than my standard Enfield's.

Shoots quite well, bore looks like new. Also, after messing around with it, turns out it's not a floor plate...rather a cut down removable box mag with a bronze soldered on plate. Fun little guy.

Roadking, Good to hear, I like a good shoot'n rifle.

    Thanks for the update,
