I was thinking the PS90 with the Five Seven pistol combo but ammo would be the major issue. That is my SHTF setup at home because it's short, light and holds 50 rounds easily.

For long term or off property I was thinking AR15 but honestly I'd probably grab my Scar instead chambered in 308. I think it would be easier to find ammo for than the AR since pretty much every hunter has it laying around.

I have my p90 with ruger 57. Ammo is only an issue if you don't stack deep. It's my bug in defense weapon for on the compound. Going off my land, I would grab my AR15 in 5.56 and my savage 30-60 because that thing is weightless.

In SHTF, you don't go shooting recreationally. 1000 rounds will last you a lifetime. But SHTF is temporary, factions will emerge, and a sense of order will be restored.

Typically one gains strength through carrying a certain load for an extended period of time. Also, the load will get lighter as a portion of the contents are consumed.
