Re: So who won the elections in PA?
Saw an article today that made me chuckle and then get a bit worried.
Basically, by law, you must turn in your own ballot when you mail it in or drop it off. However, there is a push to "fix" this by allowing anyone to turn in anyone else's ballot. This would eliminate any potential challenge to someone pulling up in a van full of ballots and jamming them into a mailbox or a drop off box.

Re: So who won the elections in PA?
They're still printing ballots out to get a lead, they keep "finding" ballots in NJ races too. We must make election integrity a priority, and the GOP needs to dig its fucking head out of its ass if it thinks this bullshit is legally justified,
taking the Moral high ground is destroying elections, the democrats dont give a shit about cheating

Re: So who won the elections in PA?
No, we lost Crompton in the mail-ins but a recount is in order due to the narrow margin. I wouldn't expect to get it back.

Crompton race goes into recount.
Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court race goes to recount
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) * A statewide recount is being ordered in the Nov. 2 election for an open seat on Pennsylvania*s statewide Commonwealth Court after two candidates finished within a half-percentage point of each other, Gov. Tom Wolf*s administration said Wednesday.
Acting Secretary of State Veronica Degraffenreid issued notice that she will order the statutorily required statewide recount, Wolf*s Department of State said.
Two seats on Commonwealth Court are opening up next year. Republican Stacy Wallace, a lawyer, won one of them in last week*s election.
For the second seat, unofficial returns submitted to the Department of State by all 67 counties showed Democrat Lori Dumas leading Republican Drew Crompton by nearly 17,000 votes, but well within the margin under state law for a mandatory recount.
Crompton had until noon Wednesday to waive a recount, the department said.
Dumas is a Philadelphia Common Pleas Court judge. Crompton is a former state Senate GOP aide who was sworn in last year to temporarily fill an opening on the court.
The court handles cases involving state government and local governments.
Counties have two weeks to carry out a recount.
Almost 2.8 million ballots were cast in the election, or about 31% of Pennsylvania*s 8.7 million registered voters.Last edited by eagleclaw; November 11th, 2021 at 07:49 PM.
