...if you removed the gas tube and block(blocking the gas port) - that would likely pass inspection.

    By whom?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

By the Pa. state police crime lab, I presume. Reason being the bunny cop who confiscates your rifle only THINKS it's a semiauto. He can't PROVE it's a semi because as my letter from the commissioner points out, wildlife officers are not gunsmiths...
Fair enough I suppose. I AM a gunsmith, and I would welcome the opportunity to testify in the event that my rifle is seized.

    A step closer.
I've been shitted up with this cold so haven't been in the woods.

I got a hogue grip for my .41 NM Blackhawk today.
    My my. What a difference.

I can't wait to shoot it.

I found some small pistol.primers today for my SW 66 too.

A good day although I'm almost out of Speer Deep Curls for the .41, I do have aboutba hundred each of 228 and 240 cast to.load.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

I have the exact same grip on my 44 Blackhawk I hunt with. Works great for recoil absorbtion and for holding steadier at longer ranges for me.

Has anyone heard anything at all on how the PGC wording for this section of the code?

I have not seen anything posted or discussed on the legality of any specific chamberings. Just the initial announcement of straight walled cartridges*

Im taking the classroom portion for Hunter Ed instructors in Apr.

I wonder if they can shed light on caliber limits, if any, or any other criteria outlining the minimum requirments for this change.

I'm not seeing a minimum or maximum caliber restriction. ....just straight walled cartridge/firearm, and the centerfire requirement is still in effect.

So...5" deck guns are in. Who's building a big enough barge to float down the river and survive firing it?
