I just loaded 33 more rounds of. 41 mag. I had 210 gr speer deep curls and IMR 4227 with cci 300s.
New hogue grips coming today. I hope.

Now I'll have to decide if the .44 Redhawk or .41 New Model Blackhawk get to play.
I've shot a deer with the Redhawk so I'm leaning .41.

The Ithaca 12 ga will come along for over 50.

Now, if I can shake this cold, I'll be set.

Nice! Always wanted a 41 special revolver.

I've got my marlin 1894 .357 sighted in with my hand load at 100 yds. Cast 158 grain swc powder coated over w296 going about 1725fps. Hoping to get out at least twice before it's over.

Too bad semi auto's aren't included. You could get a .450 Bushmaster upper for your AR.

It's easy enough to convert an ar to manual action to hunt with.
I've been using an fal during the regular season for years.

Have you ever encountered a game commission employee while hunting with it?

I have not. I do have a string of letters, a foia request and a letter from the commissioner in a file.
It's quite possible I'll be cited, and my rifle confiscated if I ever run into one.

The fur cops are a poorly trained lot that rely on institutional folk lore more than actual law.
I doubt many of them would know what an fal is, let alone how it operates.

I've thought about it, with my SKS. It would be very easy to change the gas valve. I think it would be a catch-22....offering to demo it's singular fire, the enforcement officer taking the position that random firing is illegal.

In fact one of the nitwits I spoke with on the phone suggested an encounter in the field could result in the officer firing the gun, to see for himself if it was a manual action.
It hasn't happened yet but if it ever does, I'll be sure to post the results.

I very rarely see the PGC officers in the field and do my best to avoid them wherever possible. One of these days I'm going to make up a .350 legend upper. I'm holding off due to a lack of quality 20 or 30 round magazines. When I get spotted by fudds, the 20-rnd. mag in my fal usually causes their red flannel heads to explode.

I have a Kali key bolt for my AR 10. I'm afraid to hunt with it. I think the game commission would confiscate it even though it's basically a bolt action.

Yeah, a Warden could get you. If I remember correctly, the mod to the gun has to be of the type that couldn't readily be changed in the field.

With the Kali Key being a simple 3 second change on an AR platform - you could possibly run afoul of the law. Now, if you removed the gas tube and block(blocking the gas port) - that would likely pass inspection.
