A tire I had to replace last week that I purchased last year for around $90 went up $30.

Thanks, it cost me 1100 for 4 Firestone Destination AT2 265/17 for my Tacoma at Jack Williams. Mounted on Aluminum, lifetime balance, rotation, flat repair. I*m happy with the tires, they ride smooth and quite.

That price included the 4 new steel wheels and new tpms sensors and hubcaps. Tires were 215 55 r16. Going to swap them over tonight.

Shit. People around here put the lamest, least-suitable, baldest fucking tires they can find on their cars for use in the snow. They must. I see people spinning their wheels in the snow every year - like they have never seen snow before.

Just checked w/ my local shop. I asked him to get me some new snow tires back at the beginning of December. The order just got bumped back as unavailable. He's got one more source to check, but I may just have to stick with what's already on.
