Re: Maryland Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
So I wonder if this triggers the MD state tax dept to have a look at your filings.
I do business in MD and DE and PA.
I carry in PA & DE but never in MD.
Looks like I could though & I am going to try.
I am pretty used to CC and when I don't I don't like it
I wonder if MD is a state where you must tell the cops , like in a traffic stop.God Bless the American Armed Forces, Thank You All.

Re: Maryland Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
MSP (state police) will investigate enough to convince themselves that you are actually doing business in MD so thorough documentation will be to your advantage.
No law in MD requiring you to inform LE.

Re: Maryland Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
I just got my MD conceal carry license. I’m in the same boat I live in PA but and do business in PA, MD and DE.
It actually wasn’t too bad of a process. I took the MD wear and carry class and went and did the live scan fingerprints in MD. I had to prove my business dealings in MD with taxes, business license and provided bank statements and 10 invoices for my dealings in MD. It also doesn’t hurt that I predominantly bank in MD as well.
You do not have to be a cash business to get it. It’s actually quite easy if you can prove you do business in MD.
They contacted my wife, 3 references and interviewed me as well. It took about 50 days from start to finish

Re: Maryland Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
I think you don't have to run. I believe that you can become a deputy constable if your existing constable is open to it. You still have to go through the training, etc, so you should still fall under LEOSA. But someone with direct experience would probably need to confirm that.

Re: Maryland Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
Recent SCOTUS decision has made the "good reason" requirement go away. MD Concealed Carry classes are quite popular now. I am teaching it twice in Chester County, and would travel if hosted I SE Pa.

Re: Maryland Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
I should have been more clear. I am doing two classes; tomorrow and fri, as well as in Nov, but both are at a Club that only allows Members and family of..to attend. If you have a venue, and want to host, feel free to reach out and we can make this happen.
One day all classroom, one day practical, including qualification attempts.
Thanks
