Question about moderation

I saw the above in another thread and it got me curious as to the moderation change. I am assuming it is due to fallout from a gun range that shall not be named and if I am right, I can see the sense in it.

From what I am seeing there is one moderator now with a badge called PAFOA moderator. Is that one person controlling it or is it an account set up that several moderators can use as a front so that they don’t have to worry about personal repercussions?

Or have the former moderators retired and returned to normal user status. Should they now be viewed the same as everyone else? I see in NOAH’s case at least he is now a moderator emeritus.

Just curious about the change. I honestly thought PAFOA for the most part has been well moderated over the last couple of years.
