I’m not a huge Brownell’s fan. It’s just the only place I found one listed, even if it’s not in stock.

These look really nice, especially for the price. No mag disconnect should mean a nicer trigger. Extended safety, improved hammer, forged slide/frame/barrel. Sweet.

Especially since they take original Hi-Power mags.
Yeah I'm guessing they're either rough forgings imported from Tisas in Turkey, OR Springfield Armory bought all the tooling from them and brought it over here to do the forgings.

I am slightly disappointed but not surprised they didn't buy the tooling and prints for Hi-Powers from Inglis in Canada. Then we could've had a Springfield Hi-Power with tangent sights.

for the price and quality, id rather have the Girsan made ones. much like every pistol Girsan makes, the quality will always over shadow the US manufacturers and will come to market at a much lower price point

Intriguing, I hadn't heard of that one. Neither the Girsan nor the SA are readily available yet so street prices remain to be seen

You all do realize this is the same Springfield that fucked gun owners over to try and save their ass a few years ago.
