    Default New Deer Harvest Tags

My daughter killed a doe with a muzzleloader on Saturday just before dark. The new regulation that requires you to notch out the month and day of the harvest on the actual ear tag is difficult for an older guy in the dark using a flashlight and a full sized hunting knife. Might I recommend a pair of magnifying specs and an Exacto knife.

how about a small paper punch?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Pocket knife or small folding scissors.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

I put a set of men's "grooming" scissors in my pack. Thanks for the idea.

    I'd think one would do.

I put a small pair of scissors in my day pack.

I flipped the safety off on the new to me 7mm mag at 6 o'clock yesterday and waited to see a head at about 100 but only ended up seeing a tail.
    Ha.

Was great to be out for old mans and young kids rifle doe season.

Wyoming has a similar cut out on their tags. I used a knife last year but they cut out a triangle instead of a square.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.
