Default Need help w/ FRT install on my S&W AR

Installed an Rare Breed FRT trigger in my S&W AR.
Had to swap out the factory BCG & replace it with a full auto M16 BCG.
Everything went together perfectly. The trigger absolutely rocks.
    HOWEVER:
After disassembling for cleaning, the upper & lower refuse to close.
There's a ⅛" gap between the two receivers at the rear takedown pin location.
When I first installed the new trigger setup, I think I was able to push the bolt itself into the carrier assembly. That allowed enough clearance for the 2 receivers to close properly.
Repeating that act doesn't seem possible now.
    I'm open to everyone's input & advice.
    AND:
For those who have yet to try one of the new FRT triggers (Rare Breed or Big Daddy's Wide Open Trigger), do yourself a favor, get one while you still can !

Another reason I hate taking apart my guns to clean them. As for the op, I dont know but I'm interested,
as I want to purchase one of these triggers.

We need pictures. Will it close without the bolt? Is the sear hitting the bcg?

Mine fell overboard so I can't view it, but I recall if the hammer is cocked or not cocked, the reset will interfere with the bolt
and not allow the upper to fully seat. Try to cycle the hammer to the other position and retest...

It closes properly without the BCG.
I know there's a solution. The system worked perfectly when I initially installed it.
    Working on pictures.

Try the above first...if that doesn't work, trying pulling the CH just enough to close the upper/lower together. Some have reported issues with closing them due to tolerances of different length BCG's.

I would check out the trigger and check for marks from your BCG on the top of the reset bar. Also check the spring which is angled in the trigger housing...making sure it is not kinked. There is a rather extensive thread on AR15.com which deals with all of the issues some have had along the way. There is also many fixes, which can be done by the end user.

Make sure the hammer is cocked.

    OP HERE.
    Problem Solved.
The Reset Bar on the FRT Trigger was preventing the upper & lower from closing properly.
A small, thin bladed knife was inserted between the two halves to push the reset bar forward allowing proper closure.
A small dab of gun grease on the reset would have likely have prevented the problem from occurring in the first place.
I'm told that this is a common occurrence with the new Forced Reset Triggers, Rare Breed, Wide Open, etc.
