Default Sig Virtus (like handguard for AR-15???)

    Hey Troops,

Does anyone make a handguard in the style of the Sig Virtus, but for the AR15 platform? It seems that most AR handguard are hexagonal
Rather then rectangular (if viewed from the business end!), I would think something like this would sell well, ever if it was a Virtus-wannabe*. I would love something like this for my AR-V!

    Thanks!
    Fred

Here is my AR-V which I seem to be incapable of not messing with*. Barbies for men!

That actually looks like they got the design from the midwest industries 10/22 chassis.

Also check some of these out.

The "tall" design lends itself to what I assume is a piston gun vs a direct impingement (standard AR15) that only has a thin gas tube right along the top of the barrel.
The overall design of the AR15 is what dictates the fairly standard "round" tube shape of AR15 handguards.
