Default Wayne LaPierre Re-elected CEO of NRA

A shame, IMHO. He needs to go. Sigh.

Ditto. IMHO, the issue is not so much his obvious corruption. It's that his corruption has diverted the organization from its core focus. THAT is the unforgivable part.

I's just like to see some fresh blood to change things up. Wayne is like one of those communist dictators who always wins the "election."

    Mail in ballots?
    No ID required to vote?
    More total votes than members?
Thousands of ballots discovered at the last minute - all votes for the Wayne?

    So many questions.
    So little fucks given now.
    So much for the NRA.

That New York Attorney General is sure doing gun owners and the NRA members a big favor by suing them and putting the NRA out of business. Next thing you know the New York Governor will have National Guard getting a hold of the members list so they can help members clean their guns. Thanks so much for caring about us New York.

Your slavish devotion to NRA is not news. Nor is your attempt to change the subject.

Whaddya think about the actual topic: The blatantly corrupt Mr. LaPierre's continued leadership?

I*m amazed the directors and members continue to endorse this guy.

Full disclosure: I am an NRA member.

He's taken on the persona of a Televangelist. Haven't received my monthly magazine in a year. They say it's undeliverable to my current address. Same one I've had for 30yrs..

THIS. This is exactly what he's become and he expects all the perks and money flow that this entails. It's really a shame because I do think he did - at one time - a lot of good and sure helped to build the NRA into the powerhouse it had to become to play with the big boys on capitol hill. He and the NRA got the job done; why do you think the left absolutely hates the NRA so much? All of DC was scared to f-ing death of them and STILL are to some extent, but lately it really seems as though Wayne has shit the bed.

He went too far and allowed too much to go to his head. I'm sure he does see himself as some kind of 'king.' And that's a problem.

I don't give a shit about the magazines, they're nothing but 75% advertising anymore anyway. If not a higher percentage. Waste of paper.
