S&W finally leaves Massachusetts
Not sure if posted anywhere but S&W is finally leaving Massachusetts. S&W has been in Mass. since 1852! So sad that they have to because of Mass. Politics. Specifically the final straw being Mass Politicians passing laws making it illegal to manufacture several types of firearms! Will Blue States like Mass. ever wake up ? Probably not. I was born and raised in Mass. and hate to see the every year deterioration. My niece is now out of a job unless she wants to move to Tennessee - which I told her to do in a minute - but with all the family up there, etc., it's a hard decision. But I'm told Maryville, TN is beautiful!

Now, they should follow up with refusal to deal with any Massachusetts govt agency.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

S&W has more than just guns. Like Ruger , they have a diverse metal-business. They do MIM , Inv-Casting and forging for many other gun makers and other industries and products. They even MIM transmission gears and forge shift forks for Harley Davidson motorcycle transmissions. .

Re: S&W finally leaves Massachusetts
I went to College a few miles down the road from pland/hq. A sprawling campus for sure! They had a great range until they had to close it because a terrorist actually used it to practice so of course, it was their fault. That was many years ago. They finally said F it and closed the range to the public. I hope more companies leave woke states like Mass and cripple them. And I'm sure Mass Politicians could care less because they are "saving" their States citizens - ugh.

I admire companies like Magpul and now S&W that say enough is enough. Polymer80 should leave Nevada as well.

I found this out earlier through a youtube comment section that had nothing to do with guns.

Maybe now S&W will get rid of unions and the Hillary Hole on their revolvers. Make it a better company with guns people want. Colt under new competent ownership may be next to "get it"

Only corporate headquarters and some operations. Final firearms assembly perhaps?
