Sig P210
So, a Sig P210 with a 22 conversion kit ( which I didn't even know existed ) in great shape. Buy it ? I know the answer, but hoping somone will say no, it's not good ( right around $2k for everything ). Thoughts?

So take out the 2nd Mortgage on the house and buy the damn thing! Over the years I've stinted myself on Mannlicher Shonauer rifles in the 1970s when they were affordable, Benelli Sport pistols in both .22 LR and .32 S&W Long when they were first imported and still cheap and Walther GSP used from an acquaintance at a give away price.

old one.
And yes, if only to have a crystal ball. I bought a couple HK P7's several years ago for $499 each. I was seriously going to buy 10 from the company but said $5000 for 10 P7's - that's a big risk ! Son of bitch - lol."Tastefully Pimptastic"

Re: Sig P210
Doesn't sound like a bad price if it's in good condition and the .22 conversion kit has matching serial numbers. If it's beat up and non-matching I don't know enough to say.

Cruzans:
By all means get an older P210 with a 22 conversion kit if it's only $2k, but MAKE SURE the trigger pull suits you. I bought one in the spring but wasn't permitted to try the pull. Mistake. It was mushy and had very light; I couldn't tell when it was going off, and the recoil would sometimes cause a quick second shot. Parts are not exactly plentiful or cheap, and that "en bloc" fire control group is a PITA to work on. I sold it.
Do dry fire it several times before purchase.

P-210/?
They came with different - dash or / slash numbers. And of course , commercial and military.
The high polish blue commercial and police guns command the highest prices.

Re: Sig P210
A customer of mine collects them. I've fired several over the years, all have been beyond excellent.
They were all older models from the 50's and 60's.Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter
