Well that certainly sucks! Looks like I'll have to make a Microtech my next choice! Thanks, I'll have to start reading!

I have a couple Boker Kalashnikov knives. They’re really good auto knives for the price. I even found one in S30V for $60.

Just got his pair on Wed. A standard sized Kalishnikov in D2 and a mini in S30V. BladeHQ has a lot of these in all kinds of blade configurations but I wanted them with the drop point blade that is harder to find so ended up getting them from Bladeops. I never heard of Bladeops before and originally thought it was a scam site because every page you visit there is a popup for someone wanting to chat. But it is legit. It is an official Microtech distributor listed on the Microtech site, they have a brick and mortar store, and sell some big dollar custom knives from Protech and Marfione. Ordered it late Fri, shipped on Sat and delivered on Wed. All good!

Yup, I got mine there. I have the full size in D2 and I carry that at work. I also have a full size in S30V, and I use that in my carry rotation. Just check the pivot screw every so often. If the blade is loose during lock up, then just tighten the screw to steady it. However if you tighten it too much then it will deploy a lot slower or not all the way.
