Default Recommendations for vehicle lock box

Looking for recommendations for a vehicle lock box. Primary use will be for traveling. There’s a ton on the market. Any help of which ones to look at or stay away from will be helpful.
    Thank you.

Try Tuffy security products : https://tuffyproducts.com/

They have a bunch of quality products, some nice vehicle specific consoles. I have the tuffy security console made for my Toyota FJ, It is very well built and has a quality key lock and I reinforced the bottom plate prior to installing it. It would take some time and noise and some motivation to defeat it. Although with the popularity and ever increasing power of the cordless saws-alls, angle grinders and such, anything can be compromised with enough time

Take a look at the Hornady Keylock Safe 2700KL 1 Gun Pistol Vault.

I bought one about 2 years ago, and it seems nicely made of heavy grade steel. Been happy with mine so far. Good luck !

How do you have yours secured inside of the car,it doesn't look like it is made to bolted down?

I used the provided cable lock attachment, that goes through the side of the box (which can be attached on either side). I cut the factory cable, and used a significantly heavier piece of cable to run through a seat mount under my dog cage (I have a cargo van for a German Shepherd). I wanted the ability to take it from car to car, if I wanted.

I think there are 4 pre-drilled holes in the bottom of it as well, so you could mount through the floor etc if you have accessibility. I really like mine though.

I've got a couple from Center of Mass that I've used for years.

I use a Console Vault in my truck. https://www.consolevault.com/
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.
