Doubt we'll ever see that again. I'd be happy having them readily available in the $40 -$50 range!

    So here's this: https://southernmunitions.com/produc...boxer-primers/

About $70 for unplated SP primers (+hazmat, blah blah)

Is there something screwy with 'unplated' primers? I'm seeing old posts (not on PAFOA) that say they can be loose and fall out.

unplated could be softer, causing slam fires or blow through on hot loads.. They could also develop corrosion over time.. YMMV..

CCIs are just a bit more, and possible free shipping: https://www.targetsportsusa.com/in-s...le-c-2806.aspx

I honestly don't even track small (pisto/rifle) primers any longer since stocking up for a lifetime in the $70/brick range this year.

Powder Valley has Servicios & Aventuras Small Pistol Primers for 8 cents each plus shipping and hazmat. Better than the 12 cents from just a few months ago. Maybe things are turning around. Not holding my breath though.
