🦌 Just in time for squirrel season, Pennsylvania hunters now may carry digital versions of their licenses, in place of paper licenses.

How in the hell does this benefit anyone who has to carry a carcass tag? It doesn't...

Now you just have to take a selfie with the animal and send it to the game commission.

Hey PGC can we have some good hunting regs from other states?

Nope, but here's digital tag law so we can cite you when you are not near any signal.

The big bold numbers of the old tag on the middle of the back was a good way to identify trespassers. Just like a license plate on a vehicle.

Don't need a signal for this, you'd just have a PDF of your license directly on your phone.

It isn't like they're requiring an App to be installed that requires location services turned on, as well as listens for the sounds of gun fire and creates a log of location and gun fire. All that information would be uploaded to their servers so they can ensure that all hunters were legally positioned when they fired.

What they did to opening day of buck is a kick in the dick. Supposedly it was because some
higher up politicians son could never get off work to hunt the normal season so they changed it.
