It's whitey's fault, another example of systemic racism. Can't lock up those poor "illegal gun" users of color.

6000 illegal guns does not necessarily mean there should be 6000 perpetrators. One person could have 4 illegal guns.
The part of that article that concerns me is where the acting US attorney said she "will get creative" in prosecuting " ghost gun" owners.

Whenever I have a discussion about gun control, usually with my brother, I tell them any new gun laws aren't even on the table until they use the existing laws against the violent criminals. Instead they almost always get a slap on the wrist with sweetheart plea bargains.

Majority of people who want "common sense gun laws" could not be more ignorant on the current gun laws.

It's been this way for decades, and frankly I think it's ignorance born of a deliberate choice to be ignorant.

I use the Hunter Biden case to the hilt and it stops every one of them in their tracks.

Gun control in keeping with the US constitution is relatively simple.

1- Commit a crime with a gun, go to jail aka prison.
2- Do not allow inmates aka residents to have guns in a jail aka prison.
3- Upon release from jail aka prison, civil rights restored.
    4- Commit #1 again, see #1.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Sooo, how long did it take for the criminals to replace these "illegally owned crime guns" and that begs the question asked previosuly, did the owners of these "illegally owned crime guns" get arrested by either the state or the feds - Hmmmmm?
