Any Walmart ECT will have kitchen knife sets that you can just open, Think of all the axes and such out there ready to kill people, The evil black axes especially frighten me, And Oh my the machetes in the garden section give me nightmares !

They do, they're called Mitre 10.

I think that’s more about theft over stab deterrence.

It’s a shame NZ went full libtard. It was a really cool place just 20 years ago.

History has proven in many countries, It happens in a generation or less and it's in play in this country right now.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the man <snip> had been under constant police surveillance.

Yeah, how'd that work out for ya?

Didn't Great England ban knives with points? Must have a rounded end now?

If I had had the money 30 years ago, I would have honeymooned in NZ. Also (again if I had the money) I would have vacationed in NZ and done a motorcycle tour of the place. Now, I would never go there of my own accord and spend money.

Well 30 years ago it was full libtard just so you know.

But then it turned back a lot of the socialist policies and especially last decade under John Key, it was very economically open and forward thinking.

Then Jacinda Ardern barely made it in due to a disastrous campaign by the National party after John Key left.

I fully expect she will fuck up everything and in time when National gets it together or ACT Party continues it's rise, things will swing back the right way for a decade.

New Zealand overall is not a very political or noisy place, so in terms of traveling there for tourism, well, if this Covidsyteria ends, I'd go. If you like rural lifestyles, it's a very fun place to travel around and a bit behind the times while still being nice, especially the further south you go.

I still maintain my post office box there among other things, so I will probably return once the craziness ends. I used to spend a month there every 18 months or so.
