Yes, I think they are a real newspaper. I've never read a story from them about alien-human love-babies, and their stories that I've read seem to be more thorough than those from Fox. If you click on the link, it is labeled as an opinion piece, hence statements like "This is the first step towards creating a global firearms registry."

Just an FYI, red lasers show up better on blue helmets than green lasers do, but green shows up on black uniforms better, so choose wisely.
