I like DeSantis, but he absolutely will not go against Trump if he runs again, and I feel pretty positive Trump will. DeSantis will not stand a chance going head to head with Trump. DeSantis will not attract crossover voters and non-voters in the way that Trump can. Regardless of what you think of him, the nomination is his to lose, if even to theft by the RNC.

I tend to agree with you. I think ,for Trump to make sense, we need a strong like-minded VP just in case something happens to Trump. I'm not sure if that person is desantis at this point.

Nobody will say, "Fuck You" to the assholes in the world like Donald J Trump will and that is what is needed until they get their heads on straight. DeSantis runs a fairly close second for me.

I'm afraid the DC establishment is not going to let that happen again. He slipped by them in 2016 because they were out of touch with the citizens. In 2020 they were ready and had their system in place to insure he didn't get elected. The same system is still in place for 2024
