    Default Philadelphia Drive-By

"An incident involving a man hanging out of a moving vehicle brandishing an AK-47 assault rifle and firing shots into the air around Temple University’s main campus in North Philadelphia has led to the arrest of three people but no injuries, according to authorities."

    https://www.inquirer.com/news/ak-47-...-20210821.html

"The DA’s Office has filed charges of risking catastrophe, propulsion of missiles into occupied vehicles, Firearms Act violations, and conspiracy against Sizer, Robinson, and Perez."

What kind of charge is that? Is that an actual law?

Heard about that a few days ago, glad the bastardos were caught.I don't know what kind of armpit hairs the gunman must have been smoking but I hope that the DA's colorful charges lead to a lengthy prison stay.

So, it's a misdemeanor offence which warrants a slap on the wrist. That'll teach him.

Yep, deserves the same punishment as a few ten year olds tossing water balloons at passing cars! You know, because bullets and water balloons do the same damage.

Wondering. 9mm bullet fires 1500 ft per second which cause a lot of damage, what's the speed falling by gravity?

Terminal velocity is around 300fps for a falling object.

An M1 offense comes with a potential 5 year sentence and up to $10k fine; 2 years $5k for M2.

Fill it with paint and drop it off an over pass.

Freeze it and watch it blow through the windshield.

These laws were made due to people attacking motorists passing through cities/urban areas.

Remember the people being killed from rocks being thrown?
