10 round magazines are great for range use. Shoot 5 magazines full and your ammo box is empty. While better for rapid fire blasting with a 16 round you only get 3 magazines then you have 2 bullets left over. Its no fun loading a mag just to get 2 shots.

I dunno, just to be sure you're buying what you actually want? The OP assumed it was what he wanted, but made no effort to verify. This isn't the fault of the gunshop, nor some creeping tyranny from another state. This is the failure of the customer asking the right questions.
