cool device... if bump stocks are banned how could we dispute this will be? maybe not mg by form but function?

eh, i may have to agree that this is really iffy. sooner or later they will try to make really strict overreaching laws to define this...

FIFY. They keep making laws (which they're not supposed to do). We keep coming up with unique ways to comply with the letter of those laws...

agree, non-compliance is the only answer here. the ATF has no legislative authority and we need to hold them to that, not continue to play chess.

ATF Responds, basically their description is calling all AR triggers machine guns potentially:

That guy needed to have a copy of the letter and speak to the actual language instead of ranting and pointing at scribble on a white board with a butcher knife.

He's the first one I've seen covering the response so that's why I posted that one. This is the full breakdown of how this all started. It appears an ATF agent found the trigger on 4chan then they eventually ordered one off gunbroker because they couldn't get one direct. There are emails where they've pretty much determined it's a machine gun before even examining it.

no kidding - the ATF's one and only goal right now is to "legislate" everything into disarming us. they don't give a shit about actual facts.
