Does anyone really check-in their CCW?

Hello all! Had a question...

Does anyone really check their CCW in when going to the gun show?

I attended a show last year (first time with my CCW) and I checked it in. Afterwards, on my drive home I though, "Hmm, I was the only person on line doing that. I didn't see anyone else checking-in at any time. I also let everyone there see exactly where I carry." And I began to feel silly. Surely, I wasn't the only gun owner at a gun show that carries concealed? Did everyone else leave their CCW in the car? Somehow, I doubt it.

Opinions...?

I haven't been to a show in years, but I never told them I was carrying.

The reason the want them checked in the the dumbass mouth breathers who will draw a loaded firearm, muzzle flashing half the show to test a loaded gun in a random holster.

Otherwise, concealed is concealed in my book.

Pro tip, carry your own zip tie, go through the ejection port and out the mag well. Run the zip tie backwards through the zip lock part. It can be removed in an emergency with a light tug.

Check in. Men's room. Nail clippers. Back to normal.

Like icp4life said... its meant for the person trying on a holster or selling his\her firearm and\or equipping it with an accessory - I think you get the idea. I guess some folks can't think ahead. Just walk in and go right to the ticket booth and move on - don't even make eye contact with the cops at the table. Enjoy the show.
