Re: Looking for basic bolt gun
Just make sure the rings you get are 7075-T6 Billet Aluminum. Don*t go cheap with rings. I was partial to TPS rings before I started using a 1-piece mount. But there are so many different brands...and the top tier rings are all good. Badger, Warne Tactical, Leupold, Seekins, etc.
Or, if you wanted to keep it all the same... here are the Vortex rings. You need the 1* & you want the LOW rings.

Re: Looking for basic bolt gun
I ordered Vortex Pro rings (7075-T6), mediums because the scope has a 50mm objective lens and the rifle has a heavy barrel, and unless my research is wrong the 20MOA rail will reduce the clearance a little also, I would sooner the rings be 1/4" too tall than 1/10" too short.

Re: Looking for basic bolt gun
Yes, sorry. I didn*t notice it had a 20MOA rail on it. You are correct.

Re: Looking for basic bolt gun
Like you said, better safe than sorry. I could figure it out with some math, but would need to know the rail height at its thickest. With the Medium rings, we KNOW it will work. And worse case is you may need a bit higher cheek rest.
