    Default Monstrum S330P prism scope

Put one one my M&P 15-22 pistol & took it to the range today. My eyesight ain't getting better + my astigmatism sucks so figured try it on a fun paper puncher. I took my Romeo 5 off for it.

I'm still sighting it in, but I do believe I will keep it & return the Romeo 5. It's cheaper than the 5 so win there!!

My only real complaint is it seems to be a PITA to sight in, but maybe that's because I'm doing it at 25 yards. (Indoor range).

I do have a Primary Arms prism scope in transit for the AR I'm building & I am on the fence about replacing the Aimpoint red dot, on my other AR, with a maginfied prism scope. Why? The Aimpoint is sighted in & that rifle is quite accurate & I don't enjoy sighting in a new optic.

I think my sight & shooting enjoyment may win & I'll sell the Aimpoint, though. Plus, the new scope would cost less than I can sell the Aimpoint for.

Anyone else have experience in this arena?

I have a monstrum 5x prism on my AR pistol, but I've yet to try it out/sight it in.

Looks great though, nice color and clarity for the price!

For $100 optic, I really can't complain. However, just looking at the glass on my new PA scope & you can immediately see a big difference in glass quality between that & the Monstrum. The PA, obviously, has much better glass.

No question, but the price and the reviews, it was worth the gamble to me.
I dont expect any issues for a paper punching pistol, and if it goes it gives me reason to get something quality.

I think mine is the 5x version of this optic. Looks damn near exactly the same.

I'll check the model later and post back.
