Re: Transfer Shotgun Barrel
It*s not a firearm, do with it what you will.

Re: Transfer Shotgun Barrel
Until the ATF gets their way and makes nearly every part a "firearm" - a barrel is not a serialized item and you can give, lend or sell it to anyone with no further actions needed.

Re: Transfer Shotgun Barrel
Going by exactly what was said in your post, it is not a firearm, it is a firearm part so you can sell/transfer however you want.

Re: Transfer Shotgun Barrel
So long as it is just the barrel, and the transfer is within the USA - it isn't a problem, it is basically a coffee table legally.
International transfers of gun barrels can have different legalities depending on the receiving nation.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: Transfer Shotgun Barrel
True. I think Germany considers the barrel to be the regulated part, maybe others do as well.
It better be 18" or longer, otherwise you may have problems. There was a guy selling little empty plastic bags in Philadelphia, and because some were used by drug dealers to put their drugs inside, he was arrested and charged for selling empty plastic bags. I think they might have called them "paraphernalia" in that context. So if you sell a shotgun barrel that can't legally be put on a non-NFA shotgun, that's not without some risk.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com
