    Default Reloading Tips and Tricks

After breaking a decap pin on a berdan primer, I had a little difficulty finding what I needed in stock so I went to the hardware store to see what kind of suitable replacement I could find. Looking up the aisles as I cruised through the store I saw the drill bit section and a light went off. Multiple diameters, hardened steel so...why not? I miced the remnants of the pin that I had, divided the small number on the drill bits by the big number on the bottom and found just what I was looking for, took it home, cut it to length with the Dremel and viola, back in business.

I used to use finish nails for pins. Usually get a couple hundred out of one nail.
