I need another gun cabinet....
No room left in what I have. Not looking to spend a fortune & don't need the fanciest or latest thing out there. Don't need anything super large either, but it'd be nice if if had some extra room for parts and/or ammo.
Do I have any options that are not stupid money?

You need to be more clear.
Gun cabinet and gun safe are two different animals.
Do you want a metal box with a simple lock, or a safe that is more secure and provides some fire protection?I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: I need another gun cabinet....
For just ammo and parts, I'd look at everyday metal storage cabinets. Beyond that, it really depends on if you want fire protection, and how much of a deterrent you want to present to someone determined to get inside.

The Homak and Stack On security cabinets will prevent small children from playing with the contents and usually the average grab and dash burglary. That said, they will be open in moments using even the most basic of tools.

Re: I need another gun cabinet....
I found a place getting rid of some wall lockers years ago and grabbed a bank of 4. They were very common then and well made. They were 6' high and 15"X17" inside with a lockable door on each. They were bolted together and very sturdy. Sure wish I'd gotten more since I got 'em for nothing...

Re: I need another gun cabinet....
gnbrotz beat me to it . Several years ago I bought 2 metal cabinets at a school closing sale . These are old and way overbuilt by todays standards . They have double doors , 6ft tall . One has the left half totally open except for a coat rail near the top. I got some pgc magnetic gun rests and use this half for some gun storage . I am actually watching for another , looked at one at rural king $200 , really flimsy . I Have heard there is a place in Harrisburg that sells these and desks, chairs etc. that are from Pa state offices when they get new ? Anyone know ?

I have this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sentinel-...ll&athena=true
I got the limited edition blue one on sale for like $150. It's $300 right now but the green one I linked to is like $190
Holds like 8 long guns on one side, has 3 shelves on the other side and a shelf across the top. You can choose which side the rifles and which side the shelved go on, too
