I wish they still made the green metal (not a safe) stack-on cabinet I have now. That's the perfect thing. Just want a bigger one lol

I see it's listed as 96 lbs but I'd pretty much guarantee it isn't. I move it by myself and it's not bad at all. And I am not a big guy. I'm tall (hence "tallbump") so I have a 6 ft wingspan and can get my arms around it, but I'm not strong and I move it by myself.

Anybody do such anything? Know of any websites discussing it?
Depends on how much you want to do... you could build a frame around the cabinet and insulate it with rockwool then cover in fire resistant drywall. Then to reinforce the door you could bolt angle iron to one side so it swings over the door and secure with a padlock. One top and bottom of the door would would make it so most wont want to waste the time

    Small, "8 gun" Stack On
    $99 on sale at Dunham's.

It doesn't get any lighter than this one and that's a good price.

    Well, yeah, that happens.

I got it when I got my job and needed somewhere to put my duty weapon. All I needed was like a small cabinet, like a small box. Just room for one pistol. I only had one rifle at that time and I kept it locked in a hard plastic case. I had two pistols that I kept a Gun Vault on the dresser. My wife suggested I buy a bigger cabinet to have the room.

No, I can fit a few more pistols on the top shelf and maybe one more rifle
