    Especially for those of us who have eaten very well for the last few decades, shoulder holsters eliminate the problems inherent with trying to keep pants up around the bottom of a large, curved surface.     Galco Miami Classic II for my 1911 made for a fairly comfortable vacation drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the leaves change. I know it's not a bike ride, but a properly adjusted quality shoulder rig is not to be sneezed at.

    No conceal carry for me....I mean, I don't know about you fellas, but I print like a mofo anytime I'm in bicycle shorts.

    Go to a disney store and see what they have. You might get lucky and find something in a good color.

    I use a soft jean jock strap holster from smart carry.....I had a velcro strap sewed on for piec of mind as mine wasnt vert deep. https://smartcarry.com/ Very comfortable and very concealed.

    Black out the logo or carefully cut it off. Another option however it may be hot and not very comfortable is a belly band. I mounted a Fobus holster to the neck of my mountain bike. I could draw it right or left handed. When I would walk around, I would use the pocket clip on my waist band.


    Rail trails or whatever you may ride off road can be dangerous. A few years ago, in Reading a few feral utes tried to rob an old man on his bike. He shot and killed one. The rest scattered like roaches. No charges on the man. Since I rode that very trail, I went with the option to draw right or left handed.
