Why this thread has gone on this long is beyond me. You OWE the money. The shop owes you a firearm. It's pretty simple. If you don't pay your bill then you get what you deserve. You have handled this wrong from the start. Time to pay the fiddler. I

Like you said you can’t change the past, and at this point I don’t think there’s much you can do to come out with a “win”. Like others said, the state police should’ve been contacted cause in reality, the FFL “stole” a gun from you that you have proof of payment and delivery to them of

First off, the CC company is no way at fault here and secondly, why do you not name the FFL who stiffed you? Then thirdly, if you have all your ducks in a row, go see the DJ and file in small claims court. You'll need to do it in his district.

If you want to avoid court, contact the company that filed suit and offer to pay them right now. Chances are they'll take you up on it. You should have paid the CC anyway as it wasn't their fault the FFL stiffed you. Both you and the FFL made mistakes.

Wait I am confused...you said to the debt company if they want their money you will see them in court.

So man up go to court and explain. IF you believe you are in the right then explain it to court and win.

Remember you asked for court. Now you got it

I would guess that the debt is owed to the collection agency at this point.
    CC company probably sold it.

You got a couple choices, pay it or have your credit rating hurt, and deal with the agency that will never give up. Columbia House Records is still after me.

There is hard evidence in the form of a paper trail that the FFL stole property from you. You have the order/shipping confirmation, CC statement and tracking info. If he entered it into his book but didn't transfer it to you - that's an objective issue. If he didn't enter it into his book - that's an objective issue. The retailer will have the serial number info and that will put the pieces together.

I'd continue contacting various levels of law enforcement to actually investigate or at least pay the FFL a visit to put some fire to his feet.

Simply cannot fathom why people come here and cry whine kick complain about a company that fucked them, and REFUSE to name that company. If you see a rattlesnake in the playground, you ARE morally responsible to inform others!

You know what? If you won*t name the offending character(s) then I hope they rape you two or three more times! Is getting raped wrong? YES. Is not reporting it and telling others their name wrong? YES , a dozen times as wrong!!!

So, enjoy your butt-hurt. No pity party is scheduled here!
