Striker Fire Match Harrisburg July 31, 2021

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC !

Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers, https://www.harrisburghunters.org/ will be having a Striker Fire Match on Saturday July 31, 2021 at the Police Pistol Combat Range. No pre-registration required. Just show up.

This fun match will be for centerfire, striker-fire guns only. If you have a Canik, Glock, M&P, Ruger, Walther, XD, etc., come on out and have some fun with us. We'll be shooting 10 rounds in 15 seconds from each of the 5, 7, 10, 15 , and 25 yard lines at an NRA D-1 paper target. Gun will be loaded on command. Start at low ready. No Holster required. You can shoot from a bag/box. Round count per relay is 50.

You can compete in either or both of two gun classes: Stock (iron sights only) and Open (red dots allowed).

We will be running 4 relays starting at 9:00 am. Shoot all 4 relays if you like, pending availability of shooting positions. Cost is $10 per relay fired.

Awards will be determined using the Lewis Classification System. We will pay back 50% of fees taken in as cash awards to the winners in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places in Lewis Classes A, B, and C for each gun class. In addition, we will award a frameable Certificate to the top shooter in each gun class, and to anyone who shoots a 500 score (500 Club). Match results will be sent out by email, and awards will be paid out as soon as we see you again.

Gate opens and range setup/registration begins at 8:00 am, orientation and safety briefing at 8:45 am, hammer down at 9:00 am. We've developed this match to be easy, fun and safe. If you biought a striker fired handgun and you don't shoot it a lot this match may be for you. Safety rules are strictly enforced. Please come and join us for some fun.
