Time to build an AR or keep waiting?

The first AR I owned I grabbed a 20* complete upper. It*s the ONLY one I regret because I didn*t do it myself. The lower I did...., but at the time I was green on them, and didn*t have the tooling. It was a different time as well. This was right after the Clinton AWB expired. Didn*t have the endless choices of parts & information like we do now.

I*m telling ya. Don*t do it. Build your own. Save yourself the regret.

WHat will I likely regret? It will just be a paper puncher. I'm not looking to spend a fortune.

Anybody have a link to a good video on a lower build. youtube has a few that I can find but are not really that good.
I need to see what part goes where, as some videos are so dark, or the part isn't shown.

Do you mean the trigger assembly?

There are a lot of good options in the market now for drop in triggers, and can avoid the hassle of putting that together.

I used one a couple of years ago but can't find it either. It was very good and walking you through the whole assembly.

Do you have a kit and a lower you want to put together?
Bring it up to the shop and I'll show you how it goes together. They're not complicated at all but it helps to have a couple dedicated tools to make the assembly smoother.

You aint kidding, I got about 6 to come up and they suck.
Its all together now, looked at my other lower and just copied it.
