6.8 SPC thoughts?
I'm thinking of picking up the 6.8 SPC upper from PSA for $460, it comes with BCG and charging handle, 18" stainless steel barrel 1 to 11 twist.
This will be my first 6.8SPC, been shooting only 5.56 and .308.
For the lower should I use a carbine buffer lower or rifle buffer lower?
What's your thoughts on the 6.8 SPC?

Re: 6.8 SPC thoughts?
I've owned a Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle in 6.8 SPC for many years. I reamed out the chamber to make it 6.8 SPC II. It's a fun gun to shoot and the cartridge is far more accurate than the Mini platform. My dad has a Ruger M77 Hawkeye in 6.8 SPC that he bought to test reloads for his rifle and my Mini. The M77 is very accurate. Easily does sub-MOA with Hornady BTHP Match 110gr rounds. So in the right platform 6.8 SPC is an excellent cartridge for medium range targets. That being said, it's not nearly as popular as it was, and finding ammo right now is as bad, if not worse, than finding 6.5 Grendel.

Re: 6.8 SPC thoughts?
I'm definitely a fan of it myself, very handy deer and hog round for 0-250 yards. The upper I have is a PSA and have had zero problems with it. This will be my son's deer gun in a few years when he gets big enough to go.
