Anxiety in the streets and behind the wheel
No pre-existing thread for Philadelphia's homicidally stupid drivers being met by the ever-increasing rage, so.... thank me later.
Notes
1) I read elsewhere on social media that this dude got his tires flattened as well.
2) Also implied that it was plural bystanders.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a young child was hospitalized after he was hit by a pickup truck on Wednesday afternoon. The striking driver was also injured after getting attacked while trying to flee the crash scene. It happened around 4 p.m. on Oregon Avenue near 8th Street.
Police say a 12-year-old boy was rushed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia after the crash. He's currently listed in stable condition. At some point during the incident, police say the truck driver was attacked by a bystander in an attempt to flee the scene. The man, who is facing DUI charges, was also hospitalized. He has not been identified at this time.

$20 k re-ward for Mr Dreads guy with the extended mag Glock, who was simply vigilante-ing because the victim of his semi-automatic ire stole a car.
The video from June 9 shows a black pickup truck following the victim, who is driving a Chevy Impala, down West Schiller Street, near 10th and Tioga streets. They are looking for the suspect, who they believe drives the Dodge Ram with a chrome gas cap.

... and the rest of the story
On June 9, 2021, at approximately 2:59 pm, a black Chevrolet Impala was taken from the 1000 block of West Schiller Street. The vehicle fled to the 1100 block of West Lycoming Street followed closely by a black Dodge Ram pick-up truck. When the vehicles stopped an unknown black male with long braided hair exited the truck and approached the driver*s side of the Chevrolet Impala and fired several shots into the vehicle. The operator of the Impala sustained several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police say two males, a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old, were both shot after being chased by another vehicle in the city's Logan section.

Re: Anxiety in the streets and behind the wheel
Maybe but maybe not, I wasn't there and don't know the full story. Maybe he tried to run after they went after him. The first question that comes to my mind when someone gets hit by a car is...did that happen on the sidewalk? Since much of America doesn't seem to get it...Roads are for cars and there is a high possibility that one or more will be coming down it. So if you're going to be there, be aware. It's really pretty simple.

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A Detroit woman who had her Mercedes Benz stolen refused to sit at home feeling sorry for herself. Instead, she followed it all across Detroit until she decided to take matters into her own hands. Bianca Chambers said for two days, she tracked her car throughout the city until Wednesday when the man parked her car and went to get his hair done. That's when she confronted the thief.

Re: Anxiety in the streets and behind the wheel
....The woman said she slashed the car's tires so the thief could not drive off again. It would seem that since others got involved, manhandled the guy and made a citizens arrest then all they had to do was take the keys from him.
