Re: 3D Printing thread
It's an interesting idea. I like hearing how other people have done it so far.

Re: 3D Printing thread
I've been designing and printing some stuff for my USPSA rig. I'm using a resin printer with Siraya Tech Fast resin. Comes out nice, though I'm still playing with the right parts orientation and supports for the best finish...

When you crank down on them, they'll eventually start to crack. PETG still has some flex in it. The only real problem with PETG is stringing, and you can eliminate it to a point with some fine tuning of the print settings. Don't ask me what they are, I just read it supposed to work, so far, nothing I really tried worked

Re: 3D Printing thread
I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes", but looking at this charging handle, is that "filler" area 3D printed?
Reason I'm asking:
CMMG makes a polymer "22LR" charging handle that has a partially "filled in" portion to prevent empty 22 brass from bouncing up and getting stuck in the hollow area of a standard charging handle. I found this one for sale online and it was aluminum, so I thought I'd give it a try vs the polymer charging handle.
They didn't mention that it was filled via 3D printed material and likely just buy $10 charging handles and "modify" them, selling them for $20.
I don't care about the price - the polymer one is the same price and I'd rather have aluminum anyway.
Just wanted to verify that it's a 3D printed piece that is glued into the channel.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
