Just dropped mine off for 2A.

My National Ordnance 1903A3 is itching for old mans and young kids rifle doe season.
Well,so is the 1924 Oveido 7mm mauser and the FR8.

Went to WalMart yesterday, waited in line for like 45 minutes to get my license

Honestly, I didn't intentionally procrastinate, i just don't remember seeing that the deadline was coming up

BUT, when I got to the register, I struck gold. They actually had 22 in stock. The ammo cabinet was right behind the register. They had a handful of Winchester 333 round boxes and a couple of Federal Auto Match (white box) 325 round boxes. Grabbed a box of Federal because you can never have too much 22

I'm not sure about statewide but 2B had no limit a few years back.
I can only eat 2 deer in a year and thats giving some out. The elk and both deer literally filled that 8.5 Cu ft freezer to the top.
I just got a new smoker, made chicken yesterday but will be on a jerky making mission next week.

If I don't use it all, I donate it to a food bank nearby.

I am looking at the book, don't really understand the regs . Like you, One deer is enough for me as my wife is not a big venison eater .But I have shared it in the past . PGC must think there are a lot of deer.

I was looking at 30-30 ammo online and saw it to $3 a round.
I didn't look a lot but man, I'm glad I reload all of my deer calibers.

I'm an idiot but my first deer rifle was a $26 7mm Spanish 1893 mauser. I have about a hundred cases for it but never got dies figuring I'd never use that rifle. I bought a cheap scout scope mount and scope worth 3 times the rifle, just ordered dies and a buddy was selling off some 175 Sierras so I'll be reloading for that cheapo. It grouped better with 175s last time we had a range date.

If It groups reasonably at 100, It may become my old mans rifle doe season gun this year.

I may opt for another 2A tag next round.
