Re: PTR-32 owners, your thots and opinions please?
I had a Gen1 PTR32 for a while and liked it, but not enough to.keep.
The Gen1 rifles were picky and only liked plastic AK mags. I used Bulgarian mags and they worked well but not flawless.
The Gen2 rifles supposed addressed this and can use metal AK mags.
For a 7.62x39 rifle, it was pretty accurate. 2-4 MOA.
I sold it to a good friend that wanted an HK pattern rifle, didn't want a 308, and before the 5.56 and 9mm HK pattern rifles were affordably available.
I also bought a bunch of Blue Training Ammo which allowed me to shoot my 308 HK clone for cheap.
I would say get it.

Re: PTR-32 owners, your thots and opinions please?
I have shot roller delayed rifles and they are not pleasant. The PTR is a great design, for the 1950s. Today, not so much. If you want something that is not an AK in 7.62x39, give the M+M M10X a look. I have one and it is fantastic. Here is why I bought one...
1. The M10X is almost two pounds lighter than the PTR 32 (7.4 vs 9.3 lbs)
2. The PTR32 optic mount is welded on and that will not be as tight of a tolerance and the cast aluminum chassis of the M10x
3. The trigger, feel both of them before buying. There is a universe of difference.
4. Adjustable gas system on the M10X because I wanted to put a silencer on it.
5. Foldable magpul stock from the factor.
6. No, it does not take Glock mags.Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

I've always wanted a ptr32 but could never find one for what I wanted to pay, I ended up getting a ptr91pdw and sbr it, it's a BLAST. I'll still grab a 32 if one pops up
