Re: FAWN EXPLOSION POPULATION !
I've only seen 5 so far. It's probably the fewest I've seen in years. A lot of deer died from all the snow.

Re: FAWN EXPLOSION POPULATION !
Last night driving home I saw 3 does all within 1/2 mile of each other on the same road. Also saw one fox, two possums (1 dead, one running), a dead duck and 1 very lucky cat.

Re: FAWN EXPLOSION POPULATION !
I pulled a trail camera that had been out for about three weeks in the Elk State Forest, McKean County. I had a doe and her two spotless fawns pass by pretty regularly. A doe showed up with a spotted single fawn on the 29th of June. Little one was born late.

Re: FAWN EXPLOSION POPULATION !
In Clinton county here*s my observations:
Significant reduction in turkeys from last year to this year
Significant reduction in sow and cub sightings from last year to this year
Reduction in number of does and fawns from last to this year
Same number of bucks, but the SOBs know how to hide come hunting season so won*t matter :-)
