If you do already own one, they know.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the same 80% ban that we commented on already?

You sly devil, they'd never figure it out from your name on 4473's or from being a member of an internet gun forum.

.gov is smart enough to figure out that where there is one gun there is more than one gun. Likewise you being worried that they're going to figure out you have one on a public gun forum is a pretty good way of telling them you have one.

Right, but I could also say I own a f-15 and some nukes. There will be a lot of warrants issued if they believe the internet.

If you have commented in the last 43 days, then this is the same proposed rule for receiver definition change and indefinite retention of 4473 records (i.e. registry precursors) by FFLs. There are 47 more days left in the comment period to make a comment, so don't delay for long if you haven't.

The proposed rule banning braces is a separate rule and requires a separate comment. Any comments made about that back in December don't count for this. You must write another comment about braces during the current window.
    I am not a lawyer.
