Default Poly80 22lr build - is it possible?

Looking at options to maybe replace my Victory, kinda want to build another P80 while i still can. Is it possible to use the AA 22lr conversion kits in the p80 lower?

Not sure if they would. Poly80 frames are gen3 based. AA kit says it fits gen 5 only.

Its my understanding there is a gen3/4 compatible 22lr conversion out there..
If they are only for gen5, then maybe i’ll grab one for the g45 im getting soon and just say screw it. But it kinda defeats the purpose of wanting to build another pistol

The question is why? There are cheaper dedicated .22 options out there.

Utilitarian/practical reasons. I dont need more guns in the safe when i can swap parts. Takes up less room. And it allows me to train with the firearm i plan to carry then swap back to full caliber for carry.

Not to mention i get to build another scary “ghost gun” that goes boo
